Our CPMG Clinical Guidelines were developed by CPMG Primary Care Pediatricians working closely with their RCSSD Specialty colleagues. They are designed to aid both in initial evaluation, and then in defining when specialty referral becomes appropriate. They are meant to function as general guidelines which should be modified as indicated, based on your professional judgment. We believe that you will find them quite valuable in your patient management.

Align, Measure, Perform

CPMG has participated in the California Align, Measure, Perform (AMP) program for over the last 7 years. The California AMP program is the largest non-governmental physician incentive program in the United States. It was founded in 2001, it is managed by the Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA) on behalf of eight health plans representing 10 million insured persons. IHA is responsible for collecting data, deploying a common measure set, and reporting results for approximately 35,000 physicians in over 200 physician groups.

There are currently 4 different domains to the IHA P4P program:

1. Clinical Domain

• 3 Human Papillomavirus Vaccine For Adolescents
• 4 Chlamydia Screening In Women
• 5 Asthma Medication Ratio
• 6 Appropriate Treatment For Children With Upper Respiratory Infection
• 7 Appropriate Testing for Children with Pharyngitis
